Can someone help me with creating a template in InDesign for this booklet invitation? The height of all pages is 5 inches. The width of the 1st page is 4.75; the 2nd page is width is 5.5 inches; the 3rd page width is 6.5 inches and the 4th page width is 7 inches.
i appreciate all guidance. Thank you!

Does it need the extra bit on the side for the punch holes? Is that included?
Start A new document
4.75 in x 5 inches
Facing Pages
8 pages
10mm margins on all sides
Your page sizes are not tracking
4.75 inches
5.5 inches
6.5 inches
7 inches
there's .75 inches between 4.75 and 5.5
there's 1 inche between 5.5 inches and 6.5 inches
There's .5 inches between 6.5 inches and 7 inches
which means your bars will be all different sizes along the stepped edge
I'd be looking at setting it up like this
But you can see that the stepped edge is starting to overlap as the page sizes are inconsistent
Which means your stepped edge will be all different bar widths
Like the below
That's my take on it anyway.

@Eugene Tyson - Thank you so very much for the guidance on the formatting of the pages. No, the extra bits on the side are grommets when I have printed the invite hardcopy, the grommets are used to bind the paper.
In Adobe InDesign, I would not show the grommets. I am hoping the pages will flip like a magazine and the pages will overlay but with the varying sizes, the borders should appear if the booklet was closed. I upoaded an invite I created using Minted.com and everything from the template to them printing, scoring and binding the invitation was included. Minted no longer offers this product and they no longer have the template, so I am creating from scratch and I will work with a printer to get the invitation printed.
I will try what you have shared. Somehow, the stepped edges had the same width of .5 inches., they did not vary in size.
I really appreciate your guidance!
