How can I delete an old logo and then insert a new one

I am revising a flier that was done by a very astute marketing person.  I have tried to ungroup a box of 25 logos but it appears that the logos in this box is not grouped. I cannot get to these logos.  No matter what I do, the "goup/ungroup" remains unshaded so that is what it makes me think that these logos are not grouped. I am lost.  Thanks.

Hi Mallory:

Are you saying there are 25 logos in a single frame? You can only have one image in a frame, so I suspect you have a single graphic that combines all of the logos.

Have you tried right clicking the logos > Edit Original to open them in their native application? Logos are most often created in Illustrator so that's what I would expect to open. Once you are in Illustrator you should be able to select them individually. Let us know if you can't and we can give a hand, but even in this scenario, please include screen shots.

Returning to the title, you can replace an image as follows:
  1. Select the frame, and click the Relink button in the Links panel
  2. Select the frame, and choose File > Place. Select the new image and check Replace Selected Item

Without seeing anything, it is difficult to tell you what has to be done… Can you post a screenshot with frame edges or share the file?
