Hello
How can I keep the text formatting from ID and move it to Photoshop or Illustrator?
For example, if I make a numbering list in InDesig and want to move it to Illustrator or Photoshop (CC)
what is the best way, if possible, to do this?
The thing is that I don't really know how to use InDesing so I always use Illustrator to do all my text there, then
move eveything to Photoshop as a Smart Object, but I was never been able to transfer ANYTHING from InDesign to
Illustrator or Photoshop.
Thanks a lot, hope you undestand my question
Saludos
If you want to copy text from InDesign and preserve the numbering, you should convert the numbering to text. Either select all the text and choose Type > Bullets & Numbered List > Convert to Text, or use the similar option in the paragraph styles flyout menu.
The bullets and numbering will no longer be live, though.

Not possible. The numbered list feature isn't even found in Illustrator or Photoshop.
InDesign has much more powerful text features than Illustrator or Photoshop. Illustrator and Photoshop share a similar text engine and so are compatible.
It would be like trying to teach calculus to a child attending kindergarten.
Bottom line: It's time for you to learn InDesign if you want those features.
