How can I make InDesign NOT import rejected PDF comments?

Does anyone know if it is possible for InDesign to reject/not import comments that have been flagged as "rejected" or "cancelled" in Acrobat when using the Import PDF comments function? Or, can InDesign at least import the accepted/cancelled/rejected labels assigned in Acrobat? It seems like an obvious thing to be able to do. Someone marks up a PDF in Acrobat. Someone else reviews and accepts/rejects comments in Acrobat. You import the comments into InDesign without having to accept/reject each one again. Any suggestions? Thanks!

A workaround would be to examine the PDF annotations first and duplicate the document and call it Filename_Annotated_Clean ---- or something like that - and remove the comments not required.

In fairness, I always check all the annotations in a PDF prior to import to Indesign to ensure they are clean and understood before importing - and also to tinker a bit to make them better - like if someone highlights text to delete - I change it to a strikethrough.

It's not easy when many people have different ways. But I generally do some tidying up prior to importation.
