How can I remove the "Track changes" log from a document?

I have received a document from 2010 in which changes have been tracked - the list of changes is correspondingly long. I would now like to clean up the document. As it no longer makes sense to work with "Track changes" in the future, I have deactivated the function. However, the entire log with the changes from the last few years is still attached. Among other things, it shows me links to Excel files in the Links panel that are only contained in "Changed text" and that I no longer need in the current document. I would like to delete the entire log of tracked changes from the document. How can I do this?
