How can we as professionals work with indesign CC2018 ?

I'm a frustrated indesign user since updating indesign cc2018 it so f**ing slow,  i try everything empty preferences cache, switch of internet / network etc... after 30-60 min its begins again to slow down it's frustrating...
Why does adobe bring out such a programm without testing it , most of us are professional designers and we pay enough to have  good working software !!!

I switch over back to CC2015 with is not a solution.  I'm thinking to switching over to Quark Express again.

Mac 2010 / Mac os High sierra 10.13.3 /   2 x 3,46 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon /  96 GB  / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB /  SSD drives

Macbook pro /Mac os High sierra 10.13.3 /   2,93 GHz Intel core I7 /  16GB  / SSD drive

I did a new install High Sierra 10.13.3 on new formatted PCIe SSD drive,  latest Nvidia drives, place graphic card 1080 card back,  Install all cc2018 adobe products , suitcase and a few other applications, (did not use Time Machine for recover).

    No problems anymore  with cc2018indesign.

Problem was related to OS updates High Sierra and update cc2018.
My conclusion (till now) is when problems occur or slow down of an application, format disk and reinstall everything from scratch...

I have had absolutely no problems with InDesign CC2018 slowing down on my late 2015 27” iMac on High Sierra. I use it 6-8 hours a day, working on large technical catalogues and documents. It must be the age of your hardware or a network problem. Illustrator and Photoshop are similarly fast as well.

First: it is called QuarkXPress. Second: good luck. Better: invest in your hardware, that is, as ‘professional’... ;-)

I think it is not the hardware, why would it work for max for 60 minutes perfect and than slow down?  Not only on mac pro but  also on new macbook pro ?

The older indesign versions worked perfectly the latest cc2017 - 2018 not

First thing to try is to disable Suitcase Fusion’s auto font activation.

    I remove Plug-ins

    - ExtensisFontManagementIDCC2018.InDesignPlugin

    - Typefi

    - Esycatalog

How many times have you upgraded that operating system? And 8-year old machine is getting a bit long in the tooth.

2 month ago. old but faster than some current Mac Pro models.

Geekbench 31120 so it's a fast machine with PCIe SSD drive for system and applications (can go faster with angelbird , but waiting for a new mac pro...)

Even on the new macbook pro indesgn cc2018 is slow.
