I have downloaded a template to use for a client and there is a text box that has a thick stroke ONLY on the bottom of the textbox. I cannot modify it in any capacity whatsoever...I have absolutely no idea how it exists and where it lies. Please help...
I'm stumped. It appears to be part of an object style (it goes away if I apply any other style), but only as an override on Basic Text Frame. I don't know what kind of entity it is, at all.
Sigh. Templates.
ETA: Got it. It's an Inner Shadow effect on the frame, compressed to form a solid bar. This really should be tied to a defined Object Style, and the text should not really be Body Text...

It could be a rule below. See paragraph rules in the paragraph settings.

Not seeing any rules. Actually would be fine to just change the color and I can't find any location showing the pink. It only lets me change the text color (blue)....

Could also be a table, with a stroke at the bottom of the cell. Can you share the file?

There is an effect on the text frame. Don't ask me why the file creator did it this way, I have absolutely no idea…
Edit: I just read James answer…

I am not sure there's any other good way to put a stroke on the bottom of a resizable frame, so the technique is good, I think. But not binding it into a defined Object Style is sloppy. It should not have taken so much raw sifting to find it.

When I get here, it still shows BLACK as the color....
