Hi, years ago you could:
I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. In the screen shot, you can see an example. I'd like to nudge down all of the highlighted rule lines—but first I want to deselect the text box on top of them.
Does anyone know how I could do that?

It can sometimes be a lot easier to select things in the Layers panel.
Shift+click on what you want to select in the Layers panel (you click on the little box to the right), and Ctrl+Shift+Click if you want to deselect something.
