Hello everyone, I'm a new user to in-design. I have set my page size in my InDesign document to 6.8 x 9.7 but when I export to PDF and print it, my content is proportioned larger to fit the larger 8x11 page size. My goal is to be able to print my InDesign PDF document on my 8x11 paper but see my print as it is supposed to be rather than ballooned up to fit.
Is it possible to configure a PDF file to a particular page/bleed size to match my InDesign file?

If you export a PDF (any flair) it keeps the size you designed in InDesign.
When you print you can choose between several settings. You have probably a setting which scales to print size,. Change to none scaling. The wording is lightly different, depending on printer and version.

As Willi says correctly, look carefully at your scaling value when printing from Adobe Acrobat. It may look somewhat differently depending on your printer, but in my printer, I would choose "Actual Size" rather then one of the fitting or scaling options:
