How do I make footnotes in Text in square brackets?

Hi all,

I am creating a term paper design in InDesign. I want to make the footnotes in the text to be specified automatically in square brackets. But unfortunately I do not find such a function. Please tell me how to make footnotes in the text in square brackets?
Please if you can, it would be very nice if you could attach a screenshot or maybe a video tutorial.

Hi Leoekfwmf,

look into the footnote options of your document.

There is a prefix and a suffix you can use with your numbering system.
