Hi. I'd like to open my Quark 2019 files in the current version of ID. I've researched and can't find an exact answer to my specific question. Any suggestions? Thanks so much.
Deborah
How do you mean "safe"? There's a risk of poor conversion, perhaps. I wouldn't assume any converted document would be ready to use without a round of post-conversion proofing.
But, if you are asking "are these people trustworthy? can I be sure that they aren't malicious hackers waiting to steal my bank account information with a keylogger? can I install their tools without security risk?" then the answer is an unqualified yes.

Thank you, Robert, now I understand. Do you think Q2ID from Markzware is safe to use?

Sorry, but I've never used it myself.

Thank you, Joel, for your help, and for interpreting "safe". 🙂

You're very welcome, Deborrah. It's always a good idea to do a little investigation into any unfamiliar tool that Strangers On The Internet tell you to install. (Markzware has been run by the same guy for the last thirty years; if he's running some kind of illicit operation, it's the absolute longest of long cons.)
