Hi,

Do you wish to place indd files (File->place) within another InDesign file? Or do you wish to combine multiple InDesign files(either in one InDesign file using move pages or in a book)?

I may be misunderstanding, but It sounds like you want to put multiple files into a single frame. If that is the case, you need to select all the files that you want to put into the frame and group them. Copy the group. Then select the frame you want to put them into, and choose Edit > Paste Into.
