Hello Adobe Support,
I have already contacted your customer support and asked about the patches for Adobe InDesign CS6 version 8.0. When I used this software in the past, I had some crashes and these problems were fixed with the patches 8.0.2 and 8.1 for InDesign CS6.
After installing the patches, I was able to work with InDesign without any problems.
Background: I own the CS6 suite, I have the original installation DVD (2) and I have the serial number to hand. I am also an Adobe CC customer and use Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom. The patches for CS6 are no longer available online.
The customer support representative (Nathalie) told me that she does not have access to these patches and referred me to the Adobe Community Support site.
Unfortunately, I could not find an official Adobe link to download these patches in the community posts.
I fully understand that companies cannot actively support software forever. However, I would expect customers to have access to patches that are already available.
I am retired and only want to use the software I have purchased. I don't make any money from it.
Please let me know how Adobe can address my concerns.
Thank you.
Sincerely, Uwe

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hello @uweh72699745 ,
from Uwe to Uwe: I see no chances to get an installer of patches of InDesign CS6 version 8.0.2 or 8.1.0.
The one thing that's perhaps possible: find someone where InDesign 8.0.2 or 8.1.0 is already patched, installed and running ok. Then copy over the *.exe file ( Windows ) or the *.app file (Mac) from this installation to your machine.
And hope for the best…
Regards,
Uwe Laubender
