How to add an automatic underline with a variable width

Hi!!

We are in the middle of restyling our product folder and we would like to add an automatic (with data merge from excel) orange underline to our prices (see attachment). So my question is how we can import prices with a variable width (for example 1,20 vs 499,99) and have the underline adjust it's length automatically.

Hi Sofie,

format the price with the paragraph attribute Line Below and set the width to Text instead of Text Frame.

Hi Sofie,

Uwe is right on with his answer but just for clarification, the feature is "Rule Below" in case you were having trouble finding it. You can find it in the panel menu of the Paragraph panel or you can use the shortcut cmd+option+J or ctrl+alt+J.

Chad, you mean "Paragraph Rules" instead of "Rule Below", which can be found in the Paragraph panel menu, right?

(Then enable Rule Below.)

Yes, I meant Rule Below found in the Paragraph Rules feature in the Paragraph panel menu. Whew, that's a tongue twister!
