How to anchor a sidebar to a certain line of body text?

I'm using a single column of body text with section headers on the side. See photo.

How do I anchor that sidebar text box to the first line of this paragraph, so that it flows?

Select your sidebar text frame, then hover your pointer over its anchor node and follow the instructions in the tool tip.
