Nuevo aquí ,

For the god sake, can i just re-asign the zoom in Indesign ? Because every normal people and software in the world uses ctrl+scroll instead of alt+scroll for dynamic zoom. Thanks.

Hi Lucas,

I assume you are on Windows and not on MacOS.

In the Adobe world at least InDesign, Illustrator and PhotoShop are using Alt + Scroll for zooming with the mouse wheel. On Windows and on MacOS. Acrobat Pro and Adobe Reader are different with Ctrl + Scroll on Windows 10.

FWIW: You can zoom in and out with the Ctrl key in InDesign on Windows.

Just add the + or the - key to zoom in or out in certain steps.

There is no such a feature. You can do this - https://graphicdesign.stackexchange.com/questions/84926/how-do-i-zoom-with-ctrl-instead-of-alt-on-wi... - only on your own risk.

Remember, never say you can't do something in InDesign, it's always just a question of finding the right workaround to get the job done. © David Blatner

This is not an "answer," just stating the existing conditions OP was complaining about. I found this post when trying to search for a way to change it myself. Why do some Adobe products (and just about every other program/UI under the sun) use Control+scroll, while the three you listed use Alt-scroll? And if they insist on defaulting to that, why is it not customizable? It is very frustrating.

MÁS RECIENTES

The difficulty I have had for a long time is that even though I've trained myself to use alt+scroll, it activates shortcut keys.

So if I then use any other keyboard shortcut, V for select for example, it instead opens the View toolbar and I have to esc away from it. This is incredibly frustrating.

It's a built-in windows behaviour that can't be easily deactivated, changing the zoom key+scroll would be an easy workaround. (Worth noting in Illustrator and Photoshop this doesn't happen)
