How to create glossy effect font ?

Hello,

 I would like to create a font with a shiny look,

and I have watched the videos and my new edition 

is different from the one used, and the guy goes so fast,

theres no text to follow, and I cant do it. Can someone

please help me with a step by step, with this years edition. 

I just need to make one word look shiny, in two colors ,with no back ground.

Can you show us what you mean by a glossy font? Also show the video. This is probably something best done in Photoshop or Illustrator, not InDesign. For help with those programs go to the appropriate forum.
