I would like to create a template for a document which will have an introductory page and a series of mini-chapters.
I would like the introductory page to have its own running header, and each subsequent mini-chapter to have its own running header.
I am not sure how to do this.
Would I create a series of Master Pages (each with its own running header), one for the introduction and one for each mini-chapter, with each mini-chapter starting on a righthand page?
If the text variable name for each required runnung header was different, could I still draw on a common paragraph style?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure why you would need more than two Master/Parent pages. If all the headers use the same paragraph style at each level the variable should pick up the new text as it changes.

You can have as many MasterPages as you need - and each MasterPage can have its own info.
And you can base MasterPage on another MasterPage - in case you just need to add something extra.
