How to do a double header row on a table so I can have a "Continued" Line?

I have a table that flows over two text frames and I need it to have a -Continued header. But there is already a header (Accessory, Wire...). Currently the table title is a separate paragraph.

Table Header: 1st text frame:

Table Header: 2nd text frame:

I tried the instructions here that show how to make a continued header: https://indesignsecrets.com/continued-heading-table.php

But that example assumes there is only one header row. And so by duplicating it and assigning the header to only the top row, you can easily hide the header on the first frame. But I need yellow header to appear on both frames.

I tried constructing the yellow header with paragraph rules and paragraph shading, but there was no easy way to get the lines in the rules to match up perfectly with the lines in the header. I also thought about just doing the "Continued" as an anchored object on page 2, but InDesign won't let you anchor anything into a table header on any frame except the first frame. I also thought about anchoring the Continued to the row below, but if the table reflows, the Continued will be in the wrong spot.

Is there any way to make GREP page specific? So it only shows up on odd pages?

Any ideas?

Why is it a problem that you want a two-row header? Just mentally replace all of David's singular "row" with plural "rows" in the paragraph starting with

and it will work as advertised.

GREP has so much nothing to do with this or "odd pages" (which ALSO has nothing to do with this particular table trick) that when you ask:

    Any ideas?

Yah I do. Are you someone else who has hacked Kelly's Adobe account?

I still have to look things up every day! I am so glad that people have taken the time to write down their solutions to trick InDesign and save it as the brain collective for future generations.

How about if you hide with a white frame the header (or a part of your header) only in your first text frame?

(In the screenshoot the table title is the first row of the table)

Ha! I had banished the idea of a white box from my memory years ago as something never to be done. But indeed it would work just fine in this case.

This answer is correct as well, but Adobe will only let me mark one as correct.
