Hi, I am wondering how I can edit the AI generated photos in InDesign under "edit with" normally I can open the image directly in Photoshop, but the "edit with" menu doesn't show any selection.

Do I have to package the document and then look for image and open it from there? That's the only way I have been able to do it. Thanks for any help.

By default, InDesign 19.5 when creating AI generated photo hides the image.

One workaround: (1) Create a folder to put the image, (2) Select the AI image in the Links panel and choose Embed, (3) With the embedded image selected, choose Unembed, and choose NOT to use the original image but choose the folder you created. Then you can open the image in your folder in Photoshop for editing.
