Hello.

I installed Adobe InDesign CC 2017 but I can't write Middle East language. How can I enable it? Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 has an option about it but how about Adobe InDesign?

Thank you.

In order to access all Right-to-Left features, you must have InDesign copy with Arabic support.

Check first if you have the "ME Type Tool" in your InDesign copy

If you don't have "ME Type Tool" then you need to follow below steps in order to access ME features…

No, don't uninstall, install above your primary language as it will run with the UI of your current OS if you have installed it.

You need it only for the installation process and for activation. (And all 30 Days once for reactivation).

Please don't recommend uninstalling, it is not necessary. If I would do so, I would get this version instead with a German UI with an English. But if I install it above the existing version I can use InDesign in German but wiht additional functionality.

Hi Willi,

Are you suggesting that having multiple InDesign versions is better? I do some time suggest to install previous version with ME Support if the poster explains his/her requirements in detail, I also have two InDesign version on my Mac for testing purpose and feel it is nice to have different copies with different language support.
