Hello @sharp_Glitter5FCC,
Thank you for reaching out with your query! Currently, InDesign doesn't support exporting GIFs directly. However, you can export your InDesign project as an EPUB or a PDF, then use Adobe Photoshop or another tool to create a GIF from your exported content.
Additionally, Please share which version of InDesign and which operating system you use. This information might help us guide you with more tailored advice.
Feel free to let us know if you need any more help!
Thank you,
Abhishek Rao

As noted, no.
But consider that GIFs are an almost wholly obsolete and generally inferior file format for anything but small animations. Optimized JPG will do everything except transparency, and PNG will do transparency and lossless compression. You might consider revamping your needs/workflow.

For animated GIFs you can try:

There is also full version available.

Indeed, GIFStudio is a possibility for exporting GIF out of InDesign.
@Monika Gause did a series of nice use cases. She uses Illustrator but the Extension works for both InDesign and Illustrator.

I just use Photoshop (with the Timeline panel).
