Great, what kind of report would you like?
And what extra options / functionality?
Sometimes corrupted files can be fixed - if opened without showing them - then exported as IDML.

Any chance you already have some examples? I might have few but would be beneficial to have few more for testing - with different kinds of corruption.

Done.
If Document is not corrupted - can be opened and won't hang InDesign - number of pages will be updated - shortcut for now:
There is a bit of a "trade off" - I need to give InDesign enough time to hang - so right now it takes at least 20 seconds to process each file (*) - no matter if it opens or not ... so for 1000 files it's at least 6 hours - but the good news is - you can leave it overnight.
(*) I'm testing it on my laptop with mid range 1TB SSD - if you have faster SSD - then this 20s could be made 15s - but I think it's better to give it a bit of extra time - just in case ... hey, at least you don't have to sit and do it manually, right?

New idea(s):
1) to speed up the process - I could link size of the file with time - 1s for every 500Kb/1Mb - and max 30s - so I can test smaller files much quicker,
2) maybe instead of a list - it would be more benficial to re-save INDD files that can be opened with a new name - or export them as IDML?
If something happened with your server - or you want to migrate from older version of InDesign - at some point you'll have to open each file anyway - why not do it now?
Maybe even do PDF export of the whole file or few first pages as a JPEG preview?
Of course list can be created anyway.
And just tested something else - you could sort of use Bridge - it generates previews / tries to open INDD files - but generates false positives:
Won't open at all in InDesign:
OK:
CORRUPTED - even when it shows Swatches - will hang InDesign:

You are welcome.
Quite a number of files - would be best if you process it in few chunks...
About 6 days of continuous processing without the time optimisation ... on average it's about 11.6Mb / file so my idea to link size with time should save some time.

Extra bonus - if instead of updating page count - to see if file is OK - IDML export would be performed - some of the files can be recovered.
