How to find details of missing fonts in InDesign

New Here ,
Jan 02, 2020 Jan 02, 2020
Hello,
when opening my InDesign document, unfortunately the dialog box "Missing fonts" no longer appears. But in Preflight InDesign shows me missing fonts.
How do I get my dialog box displayed again so I can search/replace fonts?
I hope you can help me.

Many thanks in advance

H there,

Thanks for reaching out. To access the missing fonts dialog box, please choose Type > Find Font. In this dialog box, you can see the details of the fonts within the document and details of missing fonts.

Let us know if this helps or if you need any further assistance.

Regards

Rishabh

Hello,
thank you for the quick help.
I have found the field and can now continue working with it.
Can I also set it to pop up the dialog box again when I open my files?

Thanks

Glad to hear it has been resolved! In order to set up the missing link pop-up, please navigate to preferences > File Handling > Please enable Find Missing Links Before Opening Document. For more reference, please refer to the screenshot below:

What version of InDesign are you using?

What is your Operating system?

Have you installed the latest InDesign updates and OS updates?

Are you using a font manager?

Is this happening to one file or all files?

Do you get a missing font message when exporting a PDF?

Does the exported PDF have unembedded fonts?

You could try cleaning your font caches.

This is just a guess, but you could try Preferences> General> Reset all warning dialogs.

Hi,
great it worked with the warning reset.
We are using the Suitcase Fusion and unfortunately we are having problems with the fonts.
Now everything is running as it should.
Thanks a lot for the quick help.
