Hi everybody,
I have problem about the opacity in InDesign.
Shapes suddenly had transparency but I didn't change any setting. Do you have any idea about that?
I am also adding an image about the problem.
I’m looking forward to your reply.

Hi,
Perhaps you accidentally changes the blending mode? Check the effects panel. The dropdown next to Opacity should be set to Normal.

Thank you very much!
I am not familiar with indesign, I've never thought about the effects.
That solved the problem.

You are very welcome. Glad to see you are giving indesign a try. Indesign is very useful and the best for creating text-heavy multi-page documents. Make sure you also get familiar with the data-merge feature, in some situations it is the most powerful and time-saving feature of indesign.
I know Indesign like the back of my hand so if you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask. Good luck!

Hi Ibo Vis, no, every setting I could think of is on 100% opacity. Still my shapes (not photos) are translucent. Any color I fill the shapes with changes to a lighter seethrough version. All my colors are RGB (my file is not for print.) So extremely annoying not being able to find the reason and I thought I'm pretty good at finding my way around InDesign. Is there a secret setting somewhere or this is a bug? Thanks for your help.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the setting on the effects pannel was set on "Normal" already, so that wasn't it. But just in case other people come across this issue, the problem was fixed by checking the little tiny check box at the bottom bar of the Effects window that "Clears all effects...". My shape jumped back to opaque. There was an unknown setting somewhere that I couldn't figureout, but oh well.
