Trying to put moving gifs inside a circle or organic shape but when you publish the document online the gifs revert back to their original rectangular shape. Is there any way to keep the gifs contained in a non-quadrangle shape? See pictures for reference.
If you are creating the GIFs yourself, could you export them from Photoshop with transparency in the areas you are trying to hide with a frame inside InDesign? If the graphic itself is complete, you won't be at the mercy of any "mask" being ignored by whatever program/browser is displaying your content.
Hi John,
try to add an interactive element on top of the graphic. With a shape that is masking the elements.
That interactive element could be a button without any other functions.
Just a suggestion. Not tested…

I've tried both gif brewer and photoshop to make the gifs. Any suggestions?

Thanks, I've actually done that in other aspects with graphic pieces but i wanted to add movie clips in gif format in those organic shapes. Haven't gotten around that yet.
