How to remove unneeded foreign fonts from my Mac, in particular Adobe InDesign

I have a very cumbersome list of foreign fonts that are not able to be deletd from my Mac "Font Book," and surprisingly more foreign fonts showed up on their own. I have deleted all those that I could from Font Book, unchecked Adobe CC Fonts for all Adobe products. On my Mac, what is the best way to (finally) delete these unnecessary fonts (pop up in every Adobe application) that seem to bog down the speed of my computer?

Thank you, Mike, I did see that before but please tell me if I'm looking at the wrong thing.... the directions in the 2015 post say to "You can fix such a problem by exiting all Adobe applications and then searching for and deleting all files with the name AdobeFnt##.lst where ## is a 0 to 2 digit number. The lists of available fonts are regenerated upon executing the applications the next time." I have looked for the "AdobeFnt##.lst" and the ## are only 14, 19, 20, 21. Should I delete those? Also, for Adobe CC, what 3rd party font organizing software would you recommend?

Yes, delete them at will. I stopped using font managers a number of years ago, finding them to be the source of buggy problems too often.
