Hi, I have a paragraph style with custom bullets that I have used dozens of times. But the project I am working on currently has added an unwanted second-line indent.
I have fiddled endlessly with the bullet, tab, and indent settings and cannot remove the unwanted second-line indent. A tab could be the issue, but I can't get it to budge. I am using Indesign Beta.
See the issue and setting below.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Paula

Sez the text position to 0.
Then correct the left intent and negative first line intent to the desired values.

To clarify Willi's suggestion —
This indent should usually be the same as the first-line indent's tab position. It sets the overall paragraph indent.

Hi @paulacatherine , If you want the entire paragraph to left align you don’t need a tab (use the Tab Position up arrows to increase the number until the field is blank). If you want to tighten the space between the bullet and text make the Left indent smaller with a matching negative First Line indent:

Looking at her numerical settings, I can't see the fault, but it's the left indent that's further in than the (nominal, not-set) tab. The numbers and the actual text line and tab scale don't seem to match.

Oh, I see it now. The tab value is way too small. Had my eyes on backwards. 😛
(And missed the tab symbol hiding over there at left.)

Thank you so much for your solution. I was unable to adjust the errant tab manually, but the trick of upping the tab position until it went blank did the trick.
Thanks again!
