How to Save InDesign Templates as Cloud Documents for Team Sharing

I am trying to save an .indt file to Cloud Documents so it may be shared by members of my team. No luck so far. I can save them to a CC library, but you still have to export it locally first.

Apparently an INDT format is not allowed to be saved as a Cloud document as you can see in this dialog box when I try it.

However, INDT is one of the allowed file formats for saving to the CC Library so you'll have to "make do" with that method.

You should be able to share the template with your colleagues by using the Share feature:

You said, "you still have to export it [the template] locally first". I could just drag the template file from its location on my local drive into the CC Library panel.
