Question

How to stop files always opening in full screen?

Every ID file I open always fills the entire screen. This was never the case in CS3, which tended to open each file in the state/size that it was last saved in.

How can I prevent every file from filling the screen every time I open it?

Thank you.

Operating System?

On Windows this would be controled by the properies assigned to the opeing application: Run Minimized, Maximized, or normal window. if you choose the last, it should remember the last adjusted size.

Hi @TypoMan23 .

Thanks for reaching out. Please open the file and then resize the Window as it suits you, and close the file. Once you reopen the file, it should remember, and the file should open in the same sized window. If that's not what's happening at your end, please share the version of InDesign & is it happening with every file or with a specific file only? We'll try our best to assist you with this.

Regards
