How to stop XML autoflow?

I have dragged my XML from structure panel to book pages. I have about 200 pages. If I change something at the beginning, it makes Indesign start correcting layout on all other pages aswell. So the editing process would be really timeconsuming.
My solution would be that I could have later pages as overflow text. But cannot break text threading. It works only for a a second and then Indesign fills all pages again. Even if I delete later pages, it creates new ones. It remembers.

Any ideas?
