hyphenated words are read as two words in accessible pdf

When exporting InDesign document to accessible pdf, hyphenated words are read as two words it happens only in tagged pdf. How to resolve this issue either in InDesign or acrobat.

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Can you please share more details like the version of InDesign & OS along with a screenshot of the export settings? Is this happening with a specific file or multiple files?

I'm using InDesign 17.4, it happens when create tagged pdf option is selected when exporting to pdf. This issue occurs in all files while reading in JAWS.
