I updated my InDesign and now InDesign won't recognize my company's font.  I've tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling it to my computer.  I've gone to Manage Fontss in the Creative Cloud, then clicked on Add fonts to the Creative Cloud.  There I can see all of my company's fonts and they read "In Cloud" and "Already on this device."  I've tried to click them all, then I click Done, but it doesn't appear to do anything. Attached is the message I get when I try to open an existing file.  This is a huge part of my job.  Please help.

There's a bug in 17.2 that doesn't recognize fonts. Or the entire font list disappears.

Solution: Roll back to 17.1 via your Creative Cloud manager app.

Lower right, 3 dots ..., select Other Versions from the drop-down menu.

Hi Kelly,

if you installed version 17.1 and the bug persists, try version 17.0.1.

We also see some reports of the bug with version 17.1.

The InDesign team is beginnning to roll out, region by region, a new version 17.2.1 which will take care of the font problem. It will arrive within a week in your area.

Thank you!  I did roll it back, but it's still not working now.  I did also try uninstalling them from my creative cloud, then reinstalling, but still no change.

After downgrading InDesign, did you restart your computer?

Sometimes that's required to fully clear out the previous version's settings.
