Is this possible? I work remotely and we have several people working on different servers where images are linked elsewhere. For fonts, we use Connect Fonts (formerly Suitcase Fusion). Even though we have all of our fonts loaded on there, they still seem to not match versions and InDesign is constantly freaking out looking for fonts. I want to ignore the font warnings and the broken link warnings because there are so many so often, that it takes over 30 seconds to open each file or toggle in between to copy/paste anything. It is impossible to work this way, but there is no way around the multiple servers issue or the mismatched fonts issue, so PLEASE make a preference option to make it so InDesign does not load those dialog boxes for fonts and links. When pages are ready to go to the printer, I know to link the images and fix the fonts, so I don't need your warnings 1,000 times per day.

You can't avoid missing fonts warning, and if your company and yourself use a server based font manager, it should not happen… About links, go to preferences > file handling and untick the “check links” option (or similar, I work with a French version)

We are using a font manager, yet it doesn't work well. Nothing I can do about what the company uses. I was able to uncheck "check links" which seems to be working. Thanks. If you have that for images, why not fonts?

so I don't need your warnings
If you have that for images
I don't know, I am a simple user as you. I don't work for Adobe. And to be honest, I can't imagine how you can work with missing fonts.

I don't know what I did to elicit such a response. I thought you did work for Adobe and asked a legitimate question. I also said thanks for the "check links" tip.

What's wrong with my answer? I just explained you how it works and I added that I canoot imagine how you can work with missing fonts, since you can't have an accurate view of your work, at the contrary of missing links.

“so I don't need your warningsˮ
This.

That's exactly what you wrote in your first question. I have bolded it and the another “your” because it made me understand that you thought you did adress your question to Adobe support. Nothing sarcastic, or aggressive in my answer.

It was pretty obvious to me that @jmlevy was just making the distinction between Adobe (you/your) and himself.

Not obvious and not a quote. He changed the words as if to direct them at me.

not a quote
I use italics to quote…
He changed the words
Indeed? Tell me where… Read again my first answer : I just quoted what you wrote, nothing less, nothing more.

Run the job through package and it makes a nice neat folder of everything used in you project. It will also tell you if anything is wrong.

I don't need to package it. I know what my font is. I work at a catalog company that has many different catalogs and each has a different brand. We share ads/products. When we grab each other's ads, we make them match our own brand, but this is a daily thing with hundreds of documents where we have to keep deleting other people's styles so that InDesign stops constantly searching for fonts, even though having everybody's fonts saved in Connect Fonts (Font Manager) was supposed to solve that problem, it does not. And we don't actually have time to keep deleting the extra styles.
