Idml file created in Indesign 14.0 not opening in older versions of Indesign

Hi there,

I am having issues opening an idml file that I created in Indesign 14.0 in Indesign 13.0.1. When I try to open the file it crashes.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried packaging the file and checking the include IDML file option? Might see if that works any better.

Anything different about your document? Interactive content? Some things are not backward compatible.

That's irrelevant. Anything not backward compatible would just be lost or mangled. It would not cause a crash.
