If there were a panel that could store the locations I frequently access like a library panel, that would be great.

I want to implement it through a library, but it doesn't seem to work.

For example, these positions

01-Grep's position
0-The location of the script
03-The location of the workspace
04-Setting shortcut keys
05-And the location of my recent work directory

 

If these can be customized, modified, added, or deleted in one panel,

I can open it directly in the ID window without having to search for it for half a day every time.

    Yes, that's it - you can download it and free version will pretty much do what you need - with one slight, temporary, problem - you can't save your "destinations" for later use - if they are very specific. 

     

    But, if I'm correct and you just need access to a location of specific ParaStyle(s) occurrences - your Task would be pretty simple - I'm on my phone so will post it later today when I get to my laptop - but it will be just one or more "find text" queries. Then, double click on the found results - will get you there instantly.

     

    My tool may look complicated - but it really isn't. 

     

    For starters - it gives you direct / instant access to the whole underbelly of the InDesign.

    Then, Tasks are like Actions in Photoshop - unfortunately, without recording - you need to build Task manually. 

    And Task - is just bunch of your manual operations - clicks you would have to do.

     

    So once you build your Task - you can either use it on your current selection - or process whole document(s).

    A general "Favorites" panel would indeed be a productivity and convenience asset. I don't see any big hurdles to it being implemented at a code level. Not sure if it can be done as a plugin/script/user-developed feature.

     

    Posting this in the feature request forum might be more productive; we're just users here. 🙂

    Through scripting - piece of cake. 

     

    Pages, Text, Objects, etc. can be marked as "destinations".
