Is there a limit to how many images InDesign can export and package? My document has approx 530 images over 81 pages and it aborts the package process at around 240. I've been checking all my naming conventions, including folders/paths and they seem pretty clean, not too long, no slashes or weird characters included. I'm trying to collect them all in a single place so I can go through them one by one and apply an ICC profile and otherwise adjust.
When packaging, I get the message "InDesign cannot copy necessary linked files"
Thank you for any insight you can offer.

Hi @KittyQuig , There‘s also the Links panel’s Copy Link(s) To..., which you can choose from the panel’s flyout menu under Utilities. That should let you copy all of the document links with a Normal status to a single folder—the file paths get updated to the new folder.
Also, if you want to assign a profile, you don’t have to open an image—you can either override an embedded profile, or assign a profile to a selected image via Object>Image Color Settings...
And, an image with no embedded profile automatically gets the InDesign document’s assigned profile as its profile assignment, so if the problem is the linked images have no embedded profile, it would just be a matter of assigning the needed profile to the ID document via Edit>Assign Profiles... (not Color Settings).

Thank you very much Rob. The Links Panel "Copy to" function sounds great, but when I use it, it stops copying around 240 images. I know there is room on the disc.
When initally trying to package the file and having the process abort, I guessed that it stopped around 240 because of what I just mentioned. My links panel info shows the following:
582 links
0 missing
0 modified
0 embedded
582 unique
0 sublinks
Any other insight?

Are all of the links strored on your startup drive or are they on an external drive or server?
