Importing a large number of pages into InDesign

Hi, I need to import 150 pages into ID. I think it is impossible to do so from Pages so I already converted the document into Word. I have tried using the Place method, but I have no idea how to make the text display in the number of pages I need, at least not in a quick way. I can tell my alternative would be copy pasting each page, but I'd like to know if there's a better option. The document has a lot of footnotes too.

Thanks, Eugenio, it worked better, however the paragraphs now seem to occupy a page each, so I'm not quite where I'd like.
