Importing PDF file into CS6

Guest
Oct 17, 2012 Oct 17, 2012

Hello,

I am using the trial version of CS6 to see if this software would work best for what our company would like to accomplish. I currently have a pdf file that contains a parts book I would like to convert into a digital publication but I can not seem to figure out how to do so. I am using this book as our test to see the ease of use and overall quality of the software. Any suggestions on how to import my file into CS6?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Bob,

I have seen your 17.10.12 entry that mentions this import multipage PDF script.

I am beginning to get the hang of ID CS6, but haven't come across this script.

Could you plese point me to where it sits?

many thanks

Guy

It's in the scripts panel.

First, what's wrong with just putting the PDF on the server for the sales staff? You can update it as required as easily as any other potential workflow I can think of.

Second, if you don't want to make the PDF from Excel, you can import (and link, if you like, so it will update automatically) your spreadsheet into ID and make your PDFs from there.

Jen,

I've cleaned up your posts to remove your personal information. Would you please delete that stuff before hitting send when you reply by email. Thanks.
