I have tried to get support to help me with a data merge of two cvs files into one Indesign.IDD file.  When I try to data merge a csv file with multiple records the result is what I am expecting.  When I tru to data merge a second cvs file into the same Indesign.IDD file, the option to shoose multipe records is greyed out

InDesign data merge can only do one CSV file at a time.

By "same Indesign.idd file" do you mean the original file that you did with the first data merge; or do you mean the resulting indesign file that has now been created with multiple records?

Are you able to open a text editor and combine the data from the second data file into the first data file, meaning you have one large data file to merge rather than two smaller ones?

Or perhaps I've misunderstood. Can you please go into more depth about your project, the desired outcome, and how data merge is being used to accomplish this task?

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!
