Is there a possibilty to create a Newsletter with In-Design, save it as an HTML-Format and then put it directly into Outlook as the Mail itself, except to have it as an Attachement? (Like Drag'n'Drop or copy paste)

    Hi,

Can you confirm the version of InDesign you are using?

There are a couple of things that will make this difficult.

For example if you include text, you will need to make sure you use fonts that everyone has; the css code generated cannot be added to the email, and the layout seems a bit unstable. You are probably better off creating your design and exporting it as a png.

If you create a design that survives all this, you can open the web page in Internet Explorer (if you are on a Windows computer) and select Page > Send page by e-mail... it will add the html in a new message.

Whichever route you go InDesign is not the tool for this, if you understand in-depth HTML markup then this might be good Coda  or an easier solution might be applications such as Mail Designer 365 - Responsive HTML email newsletter designer for Mac and https://beefree.io/

You got a couple of detailed answers but the short answer is no. Don't waste your time trying.

Creating HTML eMail newsletters is tricky as you have to be able to access them on a wide variety of email clients. Unless you're prepared to put a lot of effort into this matter, it's probably better to use something like Mailchimp.
