Indd to HTML export warning(s)

I have searched and I cannot find what this means, can anyone tell me?

"Groups and buttons that contain threaded text frames may not appear correctly."

I used the default settings to export an 89-page document from Indd 2018 to HTML. Sadly I cannot sare my document. I also cannot see any buttons in the bottons and forms window.

Why are you exporting to HTML, what use do you hope to put it to (if you don’t mind me asking)?

lol its what I'm being paid to do. They want it, it's my job, eh.

I just don't know if this is an error - like a real issue - or like...a comment that some of the text boxes are grouped...

I just can't find any info on what it means/fallout/etc....

If you don’t describe to is what you are doing we can’t help you.

it does not matter if it’s your job and been paid if what you are doing can’t be done. Please give us more information or none of use will be able to help you

Hello Steph_Pietz,

This warning comes if you have any threaded text frames as group. Because of group, text frames will be of fixed size and text in that will not be able to flow correctly and in case of threaded text frames, only one text frame will go and hence rest of the text will be invisible.

So it is advisable to not make threaded text frames as group.

Warning mentions button as well, because a button also contains multiple objects as group in it.
