InDesign 17.4 - Improved Performance & Bug Fixes

Hi all,

The June 2022 InDesign (17.4) update is now available for download from the Creative Cloud Desktop application consisting of Bug fixes & improved performance. 

Note:- This is a phase-wise rollout and the updates will be available to users of different countries in the next few days. Check your notifications in the Creative Cloud Desktop application or refresh the application to check for updates.

ID 17.4 provides following improvements to new features:-

• [macOS Only] At higher UI scaling, the status bar disappears while switching from Presentation Mode to Normal Mode.
• [macOS Only] Unable to move the InDesign window at higher UI scaling.
  
  

The Core feature & workflow related fixes are as mentioned below:-

• Continuous flickering while scrolling a review in a browser with varying page sizes.
• Review comments disappear after updating the Share for Review link.
• Issue printing variable fonts.
• Turning on Preview in Data merge applies incorrect Paragraph styles if the Remove Blank Lines option...
• [macOS Only] Negative numeric value stripped off while importing an excel.
• Issue with Type on a path when converted to outline.
