Indesign 18.4 does not open correctly

This morning I had problems with the last version of InDesign, it was not opening properly. The label of InDesign was shown for some seconds and then nothing...

I uninstalled and installed it again, and it worked for some hours. Now the same problem again.

I agree with @Mike Witherell but he's giving you perhaps too many choices.

 

It's very often necessary to restore InDesign preferences and caches when a new version is installed. Here are some instructions for doing that:

Thank you both @Steve Werner and @Mike Witherell . First of all, I was wrong with the last version I had was 18.5. Then, when I reinstalled the new version, I clicked on the no keep previous preferences option. Is this not enough? It should be, don't you think? Anyway, now I have the previous version on, and for now, it's working. Let's see tomorrow.
