Indesign 18.5 - individual workspaces

Can anybody give PRECISE information, where the bloody workspaces of indesign are stored? All the adobe and other infos are wrong! Indesign 18.5 is not even visible in user lib prefs adobe etc. ...

It is so boring with adobe. ciao, Ronnie

The library folder is hidden by default on our Macs. Open Finder and open the Go menu to see a list of folders. Library will not be in the list until you hold the down the Opt key. Once visible, just click on Library and go forward from there. 

 

Also note they are under Version 18.0 even though we are running patched versions of 18 (18.4 or 18.5).

Hi @Barb Binder on my French version of Ventura, user libraries are now visible even if you don't should down the option key.

On a Mac, workspaces which are shipped with InDesign are stored in /Applications/Adobe InDesign 2023/Presets/InDesign_Workspaces.

Custom workspaces are are stored in /Users/username/Library/Preferences/Adobe InDesign/Version 18.0/fr_FR*/Workspaces

 

*Note that fr_FR refers to the langage used in the UI. In my case, it's French.

Google how to show hidden user library folders on your Mac. As the link says, they're in the Roaminig folder, but it is a hidden folder which the help file doesn't mention.
