InDesign 19.0.1 - Enhanced Stability, User Experience and Performance

Hi all,

The Nov 2023 InDesign update (19.0.1) is now available for download from the Creative Cloud Desktop application. Update to this version to take advantage of all the enhanced performance and bug fixes listed below.

Note:- This is a phase-wise rollout, and updates will be available to users of different countries in the coming days. Check your notifications in the Creative Cloud Desktop application, or refresh the application to check for updates.

Stability and Performance:
InDesign freezes while quitting the application on some machines.

Core features and workflow:

InDesign is unable to import preferences from the previous version and displays an error message during launch.

Note: To update from version 19.0, go to Edit > Migrate Previous Local Settings to import missed preferences and presets when launching 19.0.

User experience improvements:
InDesign 2024 and InDesign 2023 have the same GUID when installed in Windows.

Note:-  Reinstall InDesign 18.5.0 after installing InDesign 19.0.1 to get the correct configuration.
