Hi @ANNETHIEL,

I’m sorry to hear about the crashes you’re experiencing with InDesign. To help resolve this issue, could you please provide a few more details?

1. What OS are you using?
2. Is this issue occurring with just one specific file, or with all InDesign files?

As a troubleshooting step, try the following:

1. Reset Preferences: Hold Shift + Option + Command (Mac) or Shift + Alt + Control (Windows) while launching InDesign to reset preferences. Reference: Set preferences in Adobe InDesign
2. Update Software: Ensure both InDesign and your operating system are up to date.

Let me know how it goes, or if you need further assistance!

Best,
Abhishek Rao

Hey, thanks for your reply.

The bugging is only concerning one file and I'm working on windows 11 (Version 23H2).

I did a reset on my preferences but it didn't change anything.

Normally the document is saved on my external hard drive as well as my links (480 pictures). I saved the document now on my hard drive to be sure it's not a problem of my external hard drive. But all my other files are also on my external hard drive and i don't have any problems with them...Changing the files name or storing didn't save my problem...

Where are the links stored? In your hard drive? In a cloud service? An external drive? Same question for the InDesign document.

Sounds document-centric. Here is some exploratory reading for things you can try:
