InDesign 19.5 Version fehlerhaft auf Windows 11 pro

Hallo,

Hi @HolgerWalter34008837xo0j,

I’m sorry to hear you’re encountering this error with InDesign 19.5 on Windows 11 Pro. I understand how disruptive system errors can be, especially when previous versions worked fine.

To help us get to the root of the issue, could you please share the specifications of your machine (RAM, processor, etc.)? Also, if possible, a screenshot or screen recording of the error message and the workflow leading up to it would be very helpful in troubleshooting this.

We’ll do our best to help you find a solution!

Best,

Thanks for the quick answer! 🙂 My System:

  • Windows 11 pro (lates version)
  • Intel i5 12500
  • AMD RX 6650 XT
  • MSI Z690 Mainboard
  • Kingston FURY Beast 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL16

error (google translate):

"the instruction in 0x0000 ..... referenced memory at 0x000 ........ The read operation could not be carried out in RAM."

(die anweisung in 0x0000 ..... verwies auf arbeitsspeicher bei 0x000 ..... der vorgang read konnte im arbeitsspeicher nicht durchgeführt werden. )

(I only have problems with the latest version of indesign)

Hi @HolgerWalter34008837xo0j,

Thanks for providing your system details! I know dealing with memory errors like this can be frustrating, especially when it only happens with the latest version of InDesign.

Have you tried resetting your InDesign preferences yet? Sometimes, corrupted preferences can cause unexpected issues. You can follow the steps in this guide to reset them: [Reset InDesign Preferences](https://adobe.ly/3TKID8f).

Additionally, I’d recommend running InDesign in **Safe Mode** to rule out any third-party software conflicts. Here’s how you can start your PC in safe mode: [Start Your PC in Safe Mode](https://adobe.ly/4ek6KTh).

Please give these a try and let us know if the issue persists. We’re here to help!

Best,
Abhishek Rao

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
