Indesign 2018 very slow

not sure why, but my indesign 2018 has a almost 4 seconds delay on command. I tried to uninstall and install again but no luck...

Any idea on why?

If when you installed the program you kept the previous version's preference file then that might explain the slow performance. Please see CC 2018 InDesign—Don't Import previous settings and preferences for more details and how to deal with the problem.

One other thing. Before you reinstalled did you use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems ? Also when you reinstalled did you use the uninstall option from the Creative Cloud Desktop app which is available by clicking on the "V" next to the app's name in the app section?

As I'm always telling people, when all else fails, RESTART. Glad this did the trick.
