InDesign 2023 Share for Review

I have a file I creates in ID 2022 and put into Share For Review. I have since updated to ID 2023 and made edits to the document. Trying to update the review link and it won't update to the changes I made. Anyone else have issues with this? Is there a work around? Would prefer to keep the resolved comments there for reviewers to refer back to if needed.

Thanks!

Sorry you're having trouble here. You are trying to update the link for a document that already has a link and it is failing. Yes? Can you share more about what happens?  Do you get an error message?

Thanks

Todd

Correct, file already exists in review. I made updates. Trying to update the link which has always worked in the past. Acts like it is happening, but when I go to the review link the changes are not there.

Each time you upload a fresh document, its like starting fresh. This is a current limitation of Share for Review.

My imperfect suggestion would be send out a PDF for comments in the older way. Do the heavy lifting in the PDF Comments panel. Make sure your team knows about the 3 AutoEdit Comment tools and have them tend to use those. At the end of your heavy editing cycles, Share for Review is good for the finish up and final commentary and sign-off.

I am not trying to create a new document in review. I am tryong to overwrite the current one with the new changes, This has always worked in the past. Now with the 2023 update it is not.
